Create Your Journal

Materials you will need
One brown paper bag
computer paper - 2 sheets
yarn - 1/2 a yard
paper punch

crayons, pencils, markers, glue, and any other items to decorate the front of your journal.

Directions:  cut out the brown paper bag, the size of the computer paper. Cut enough to be the cover of the journal. The journal is the two sheets of computer paper, folded hot-dog style, or long ways. Insert the computer paper on the inside of the folded paper bag.  Then cut the fold, so that the papers are not connected. Then, make three hole punches on the side of your journal and tie yarn through each hole, securing the journal together.

Your writing will be done on the computer paper, and the decorations and artwork goes on the outside of your journal on the brown paper.
